The SGSA is dedicated to teaching the young women of Sterling, Massachusetts the fundamentals of softball— keeping in mind that the ideals of Good Sportsmanship, Courage, Honesty, Loyalty and Respect for Authority are of primary importance.
Upcoming 2012 Season Updates:
- Registration for the 2012 season is open. You are encouraged to use the online registration system it makes the bookeeping for the league a lot easier on those of us running the league. You can, however, choose to download the form and mail it in and that works too. Please try and register before March 1st. Late registrations make it difficult on scheduling, uniform ordering, team selections etc. That said, a late fee of $15.00 will be applied for registrations received after Mar 1st 2012.
- This year the Senior Division will only guarantee placement on a team to the first 13 girls that register. Ensuing registrations will be accepted and put on a wait list. If we can form two teams from all of the Senior Division registrations we will do so. If we can not form two teams the girls on the wait list will be refunded their registration money in full.
- The Spring Pitching Clinic dates have been solidified follow the News And Events link for dates and times. The fee is $50.00 for 10 Spring sessions.
- The 2012 Summer Kickoff dates have been set. The U12B and U14B tournament will be held June 15-17. The U16B tournament will be held June 22-24.
- The tournament registration cost is $400.00 per team with a limit of 8 teams for the U12 and U14 divisions and a limit of 12 teams for the U16 division.
- Interested teams can download the 2012 Summer Kickoff Registration Form. and mail the completed form and check to SGSA, PO Box 742, Sterling Ma 01564.
