Welcome to the SGSA
The SGSA is dedicated to teaching the young women of Sterling, Massachusetts the fundamentals of softball— keeping in mind that the ideals of Good Sportsmanship, Courage, Honesty, Loyalty and Respect for Authority are of primary importance.
2010 Update:
- Welcome one and all to the SGSA 2010 website.
- Registration for the 2010 season has begun. You are encouraged to use the online registration system it makes the bookeeping for the league a lot easier on those of us running the league. You can, however, choose to download the form and mail it in and that works too - don't wait too long to register, a late fee will be applied for registrations received after Feb 14th 2010.
- The Winter/Spring pitching clinic is underway - there are still openings follow the News And Events link for dates and times. The fee is $50.00 for girls registered with the SGSA for the 2010 season and $75 for non-registered girls.
- We will be running hitting clinics as well this year but we are still working out those details. So check back here for updates we will have more info regarding hitting clinics very shortly.
- SGSA is also hosting a 16U Open tournament (limited to 8 teams) the weekend of May 22nd and 23rd and a 14U Class B tournament (limited to 8 teams) the weekend of June 19th and 20th. If interested please download the Tournament Registration Form and send it in to SGSA, PO Box 742, Sterling Ma 01564 along with a check made out to SGSA for $350.00.
